Katie Wisecarver, Program Coordinator at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) will provide an overview of the AFOSR funding opportunities including areas of research interest, points of contact, information on special funding opportunities, and how to apply for funding.
Details will be provided on the traditional grant process, Young Investigator Program (YIP), Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP), Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) and other opportunities. As a part of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), AFOSR’s technical experts foster and fund research within AFRL, universities, and industry laboratories to ensure the transition of research results to support USAF needs.
